Top quality fish. I won’t go anywhere else. The batter is very tasty. The potatoes used for the chips are of excellent quality and cooked in the best oils. Good selection of foods including kebabs & pizzas.

Our favourite chippy in the area - we drive from Stanley just to get food from here. Everything is always delicious and piping hot, and there are some great deals which are great value for money, and are available all day which is a bonus. Plus, the lady who works on the counter (I'm sorry I don't know your name!) is always so lovely and friendly. 5 stars all round!

We are happy to travel for their first class fish, generous serving of chips and tasty kebabs. The cheerful, friendly service always brightens our evening when we go. Whenever we've need something out of the ordinary (like fish cooked without batter), we just need to ring and let them know and it's ready by the time we get there. Great people serving tasty food, and plenty of it.

Great fish and chips. Big portions. For me one portion is enough for two people. I haven't tried the other dishes but it's a popular place so I guess they must be good as well.

I was traveling from Seaham to Annfield Plain, feeling rather hungry, I came across the chip shop and felt the need for Fish & Chips. I've had Fish & Chips all over the world throughout my many years of travel and never have i been served by such a happy and friendly staff. The lady owner and the blonde lady server was so engaging and friendly i could hardly believe my eyes or my ears. My Fish & Chips were possibly the nicest ones that have ever crossed my lips. Fryed to perfection and served with kindness. I strongly recommend this Fish shop to anyone who is passing. If it was possible i could and would give it more stars than 5!
